How we verify listings
Every center starts as a registry listing from the CMS NPPES public registry, marked verification pending. Our team then calls the center’s intake or scheduling lead and works through a checklist:
- Address, phone, fax and hours
- Therapies the individual location administers
- Insurance plans: in network or case by case
- How to refer, and what to send for each drug
- Typical time from referral to first appointment
Listings marked verified carry the confirmation date supplied in our source records. Registry presence alone does not confirm that a location offers a particular therapy or accepts your plan. Our ongoing verification process is being established; call the center to confirm before a visit.
Business details checked against primary sources
A business-source review compares an address and contact details with the provider’s own location page and, where available, the CMS organization record. The listing links its source and shows the check date. This status does not confirm therapies, insurance, clinical suitability or appointment availability and does not earn a center-verified badge.
Source-reviewed business profiles and original local directory pages can be indexed separately from medically reviewed articles. Announced branches and unresolved source conflicts are kept distinct from operating locations. Changed business details must be checked again; source reviews expire for publication eligibility after 92 days.
Sponsorship does not affect verification. Sponsors are verified the same way as every other center.
